What customers say?

“ A van in a car park has no right being this good. Fair to say the produce served here is fresh (the fish comes from a place over the road run by the same people), but the chips were top tier chippy chips too, everything was great quality and the price was very reasonable too. Absolutely hit the spot and exactly what you want from a fish and chips place. ”

“ I'd say they are the best chippy in Fleetwood! Lovely fresh Haddock & Prawns cooked to order, lightly battered and with a very generous portion of chips. The prawns came with a nice chilli dip. We also ordered a sausage and chips, which was also enjoyed and tasted how a chippy sausage should. Not overpriced and the service was friendly and quick despite several cars being parked up at the same time. Only gave it lower on the atmosphere rating due to it being just a car park! ”

“ Best fish and chips, ever. Beautifully cooked haddock, bright white and flaky flesh and the best chips. All cooked to order, so you need to be patient, but absolutely worth the wait! ”

- Lisa Lloyd -

“ Absolute perfection! Everything cooked fresh to order. Great selection of fish and the batter is exactly how it should be. Don't think iv ever had better chips from a chippy so delicious. ”

“ Great to have some freshly cooked fish and chips and scampi and chips on a cold, wet winters day... freshly cooked in front of my eyes! We have been on a couple of occasions and the food has always been tasty and speedily prepared. Easy and free parking at the front. The ladies behind the counter have always been very welcoming and friendly. Many thanks ”

“ We've driven past this trailor van many times and thought wed give it a go today. Really lovely haddock and chips. Lightly battered and very tasty and crispy chips. The curry sauce was so tasty, the best I've had in years and the mushy peas were good too. Hoping to try the halibut next time. I'd started eating before remembering to take the pic, just a bit off the end. My portion was a medium size. Excellent quality take away chippy ”

“ I had been meaning to call in to Shark Chippy for quite some time, and what a fabulous place it turned out to be to stop and grab some high-quality chippy fare. It really is unique. After reviewing over 180 fish and chip shops nationwide, this was the first time I had come across a chippy with a fish supplier attached. At either end of the large, dedicated car park, you have two very different but connected operations. At one end sits the mobile chippy van, which appears to be permanently sited, and at the other is a huge warehouse and shop where you can purchase a great range of fish species to take home, or even walk straight across the car park to the chippy and have it cooked for you. You simply pay the price of the fish in the shop, and that’s it, or at least that was my experience. You can then buy chips, peas, and other chip shop favourites to go with your chosen fish. That said, there was also a large selection of fish available directly from the chippy itself. Without making this review too long, which I could easily do, I ordered skate cheeks, halibut, and a squid tube from the shop. These were all battered and cooked at the chippy, where I also purchased battered salmon, mushy peas, and some very tasty chips. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Overall, this is an experience you really shouldn’t miss if you find yourself anywhere near Fleetwood. ???? Cooking in: Oil ???? Payment: Cash or Card ???? Fish Reviewed: Halibut, salmon, squid, skate cheeks. See the full video review on The Chippy Tour YouTube channel ”
